Suzanne Young's literary #summerescapes
When I’m looking for danger and fantastic dialogue, I pick up THE DEMON’S LEXICON series by Sarah Rees Brennan. And when I’m feeling romantic, I like to read (and reread) ANNA AND THE FRENCH KISS by Stephanie Perkins. My favorite summer escape book is THE DAY BEFORE by Lisa Schroeder;which takes place on the Oregon coast, and is the perfect length for a day at the beach!

Another fantastic place to check out is the famous Powell’s Books, which has an extensive collection of new and used books; not to mention awesome author events.

@iHeartRevenants (aka Amy Plum) introduces one of the locations from DIE FOR ME, and attempts to read from a romantic scene until her cousin who is filming makes her laugh.
(Asking a teenage boy to film when you’re reading a kissing scene = Reading Fail.)
